Biography
Grammy-Award winning songwriter, guitarist, and record producer, Mike Campbell, is best known for his work with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
Campbell co-wrote many of the band's hits, including "Refugee," "Here Comes My Girl," "Runnin' Down A Dream," and countless others. He has also co-written a wide-range of songs, including "The Boys of Summer" and "Heart of The Matter" with Don Henley.
Other songwriting credits include songs for Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac, The Blue Stingrays, Leon Justice, Roger McGuinn, Stevie Nicks, Patti Scialfa, J.D. Souther, John Prine, and many others.
